Randall, Barnaby & Felix
I created three typographic illustrations inspired by my dogs, Randall, Barnaby, and Felix. Each dog's name forms its silhouette, combining lettering and illustration into a personal series.

Typographic Silhouettes
I created this series of illustrations to explore the intersection of custom lettering and figurative form, using the names of my actual dogs to create their visual silhouettes.
Each piece is a study in spatial relationship and typographic structure, using the weight and flow of the letters to define an animal’s anatomy: from the sturdy legs to the arched back and stylized tails.
The series consists of three distinct designs:
- Randall: A golden retriever, rendered in warm orange and yellow tones, accented by scattered tennis balls.
- Barnaby: A husky, rendered in vibrant blue, accented by stylized pawprints.
- Felix: A rescued black Labrador, rendered in charcoal and dark grey, accented by a collection of bones.
I treated the project as an exercise in typographic creativity, transforming personal inspiration into a cohesive set of illustrations where text serves as the primary visual element to build a recognizable form.
